Ian Morton
Ian Morton founded Concept Shape to help complex organisations operationalise strategy and deliver major change – such as cost reduction programmes, performance improvement or expansion of services or products. His main skill is working with improvement teams and organisation leadership to improve the clarity of solutions, build detail, understand the potential impact of change and create a foundation from which sustainable progress can be achieved.
Ian has over 25 years experience of business and change management in a wide variety of organisations. He has worked in major Public Sector programmes and in the Private Sector in the UK and internationally.
He has been quoted in the UK national press and has published papers on Organisational Agility and Shared Services.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Chartered Engineer. He holds two Masters Degrees in Systems and Business and a First Class Honours Degree in Engineering.
He has worked as an adviser for eleven years. Prior to this, he worked at Chief Executive and Board level in business.
